Mike Felker is a Vietnam Vet (medic) who replaced a medic killed by a landmine, and ended up treating many landmine (and other weapons) victims.  He has since been involved in the campaigns to ban landmines and cluster bombs, and also works on handgun violence.  He has written a lot on these topics, and has first-hand experience of the toll which landmines take on human life.  Mike's website is:  http://www.cis.upenn.edu/grad/mfelker.shtml
