Sheila Mastropietro is the office director for Church World Service in Lancaster. She will give our second talk this semester about refugees.
Sheila has been working in refugee resettlement for Church World Service/Immigration and Refugee Program since 1987, first as Sponsorship Developer and Coordinator of the CWS affiliate office in Lancaster and, since 2006, as Lancaster Office Director of the new CWS/Lancaster sub-office. She is a member of the Pennsylvania State Refugee Advisory Council, the Association for Refugee Service Professionals, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Lancaster County Council of Churches.
Sheila is fully accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals/Executive Office for Immigration Review and represents clients in legal immigration matters before the Citizenship and Immigration Service and the Immigration Courts. She received her B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster and her Master’s of Arts from the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Relations at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY.
